Sculptures and Installations

SI-LA-GI’s sculptures and installations are marked by their use of unconventional materials, in rare cases even including human blood and mother’s milk. Notable among these is a seven-meter installation on a lake, which utilizes various elements to create a dynamic and ever-changing visual form. The artist also recontextualizes everyday objects, giving them new meaning and encouraging viewers to see the familiar in a different light.

Editor's Note: Over the course of his six-decade career, SI-LA-GI created thousands of artworks, and only a very small selection is displayed in this album.

This interactive experience transforms the traditional, static representation into a shared, meditative moment, encouraging reflection on the themes of communion, nourishment, and the sacred within the everyday. At the same time, it provides an opportunity for contemplation, inviting us to think and feel what it would be like if this were our last meal.
